Frankfurt boomt: New banking complex creates 3,800 jobs!
An exciting day for Frankfurt! On Hanauer Landstrasse, the foundation for a new office ensemble was laid today, which is considered one of the most sustainable office projects in Germany. With the “Anqr” project, the Hamburg project developer B&L brings a fresh wind to the harbor park quarters, just a stone's throw from the European Central Bank. This development will not only revitalize the district, but also create over 3,800 jobs, which means a real plus for the local economy. As the FAZ already reported 32,000 square meters for its Germany center, which is expected to move to the eastend.
The planned office complex includes a 16-story high-rise and a seven-story office building with a total area of incredible 64,700 square meters. On the site that was broke for over two decades, the shell construction work has been in full swing since February. So far, 300 tons of reinforcement steel for the floor slab have been installed, the completion of the shell is planned for the end of May. The planned underground car park will offer a total of 540 parking spaces, all of which will be equipped with charging connections for electric cars.
sustainability in focus
Sustainability is very important in this project. The entire building is operated fossil-free and innovative heating and cooling systems are used. A photovoltaic system will cover the basic requirement of electricity and the facade is greened not only to beautify the cityscape, but also to improve air quality. This was also confirmed by the skylineatlas , which the ensemble awarded the DGNB with a gold certification. In addition, the rainwater is used by the roofs to irrigate the green areas, which ensures environmentally friendly water use.
But that's not all: the concept also provides attractive roof gardens, inner courtyards and balconies, which not only contribute to the recreation of employees, but also offer space for gastronomy and social interaction. Outdoor work stations enable meetings in the open air - a real asset for the district!
model for future projects
In parallel to this innovative project, an impressive new construction project will also be realized on Goetheplatz. By 2026, an eight -story building was being built there by the London architecture firm ACME. This project should not only promote ecological innovation, but also realize design quality and sculptural architecture. The use of renewable energies and the reuse of building materials are also important elements here to support the climate goals in Frankfurt until 2035, as on Development city is.With these many positive developments, Frankfurt once again shows that it is at the pulse of the times and is going with a good example. Whether at the harbor park or on Goetheplatz, the future will be built here - and sustainable!
