Master crisis: Wiesbadener Innovation Forum shows ways to success!

IHK Wiesbaden, Wilhelmstr. 24-26, 65183 Wiesbaden, Deutschland - The pressure on companies in Germany is growing. Especially for small and medium -sized companies (SMEs), the current economic situation is not a sugar slack. The number of bankruptcy registrations rose by a whopping 22.9 percent last October compared to the previous year. In order to survive in these challenging times, it is crucial to break new ground and to be able to adapt. This is exactly where the Wiesbadener Innovationsforum , which on June 27, 2025 under the title "Crisis as a chance" takes place.

organized by IHK Hessen Innovativ and IHK Wiesbaden, supported by the business juniors Wiesbaden and RKW Hessen e.V., the event aims to prepare managing directors: Interior and managers of medium -sized companies for the current challenges. Under the motto "dealing with crises and development of new perspectives from setbacks", practical impulses and strategies are conveyed.

An exciting program awaits the participants

The forum's agenda is filled: from the greeting in the large hall at 9:00 a.m. to a number of lectures and workshops to networking with Clemens Fucker, Heimathafen GmbH. Particularly noteworthy are lectures by experts such as Christopher Haas from Haas Magnetechnik GmbH, who talks about bankruptcy and opportunities, as well as Mirko Korder, who addresses personal crises.

"Resilience is the key to success," says Jörg Brömer, IHK President, and relates to the increasing importance of organizational resilience. In a Vuca environment-shaped by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity-companies must be able to react quickly to changes. Disruptions can arise from a wide variety of factors, such as cyber attacks or natural disasters, and the crisis and continuity management is becoming increasingly important, such as pwc shows.

The role of communication and leadership culture

But how does it succeed in building this resilience? According to a study by the Institute for Quality Assurance in the Working World (INQA), trusting communication and a positive working atmosphere is essential. It is also important to include employees: in the inside early in change processes. When employees are taken, the willingness to participate increases, and an open handling of errors promotes learning from the crisis.

Entrepreneurs: Inside who promote innovation and entrepreneurial spirit, it is in hand to develop new business models. In particular, the use of digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence, offers many opportunities to optimize processes and open up new business areas. "Crises are always opportunities for new thinking," says Mirko Korder, co-founder of "potential pioneers" and one of the speakers at the forum.

The Innovation Forum in Wiesbaden not only offers a space for exchange and networking, but also a platform for the development of ideas and strategies that can make the difference in difficult times. If companies adapt and become more resilient, they can emerge strengthened from any crisis. In view of the current challenges, visiting this event is a good step in the right direction.
