The training of the HBV is part of a larger initiative to improve inclusion in sport. For example, Aktion Mensch offers qualification measures for employees of inclusion projects. Topics such as the development of an inclusive attitude in the association, accessibility and communication optimization are at the top of the agenda. The DBS course plan 2022 also includes over 1,000 training courses for trainers in the field of sports for people with disabilities, such as [Aktion Mensch] (https://www.aktion-mensch.de/ Inclusion/wegweiser-insnetz/qualification) reports.
In addition, Special Olympics Germany organizes further training modules on the subject of inclusion sports in cooperation with various universities. These can be called up in the form of the publication "Chance by Inclusion in Sport". On September 26, 2025, further training on the topic of “sports and inclusion” will also take place in Hamburg. Here, in particular, the focus is on trainers and employees of facilities for people with disabilities.
For everyone who wants to train in the area of inclusion, there are numerous options. The goal is clear: create tools and perspectives to make training practice more inclusive and all athletes, regardless of their skills, enable participation in sport. A good start is the participation in the training of the Hessian Badminton Association in Wiesbaden.
