Urban Art Festival in Flörsheim: Graffiti workshop for young people!

Flörsheim in the Main-Taunus district is the setting for an exciting urban art festival that will take place under the Opel Bridge from August 11th to 15th. Under the motto “Under The Bridge”, the organizers want to transform the neglected area into a lively open-air gallery with a diverse program. The highlight: A graffiti workshop for participants aged 12 and over, coordinated by the well-known “Studio Fatal”, in which twelve young artists can work on their own ideas under the guidance of Frankfurt artist Fuego Fatal. Places are limited, so be quick! The registration deadline is July 20th; the participation fee of 50 euros includes both food and the necessary materials. If demand exceeds the available places, a draw will decide who can take part. The lucky participants can now look forward to an exciting final party on Friday, August 15th at 5 p.m.

The festival is organized in close collaboration with Mobile Consulting Flörsheim, and there are big plans for the future: In addition to the works of art, there are plans for guided tours, artist discussions and other cultural events. There is obviously a good knack here for sustainably revitalizing the city center and the area around the Opel Bridge. Wiesbadener Kurier reports that a total of eight established artists will feature large-format works in the upper part of the bridge columns, while the participants' rough sketches will creatively enrich the lower part.
