Tomburg Boxing crowns: kickboxers celebrate triumphs at championships!

In the past two weeks, the Wormersdorfer kickboxers of Tomburg Boxing Rheinbach e.V. have demonstrated their skills under extreme conditions. The heat does not seem to have an impact on the performance of the athletes who have achieved excellent placements in two significant competitions. On June 21, they competed in the international German championship of the WKU in Eschborn and the following week, on June 28th, they demonstrated their talent in Simmern at the WMAC.

The successes at the WKU championship were impressive. Andrea Sinner, Maxim Stieben and Jolie Zavelberg pulled the spotlight with their excellent performances. Maxim secured both the 1st and the 2nd place, while Andrea and Jolie each received the 1st place. The other members of the team also showed strong performances, including Liv Bender and Luisa Riehl, who were on the podium several times. intensive training preparation

The successes are the result of intensive training work, especially among the athletes Lea and Celina, whose commitment has shown positive results. This is particularly remarkable in view of the progressive competitiveness in kickboxing, a sport that places high physical demands on its athletes. As is emphasized in an overview of kickboxing attributes, successful kickboxers show a mix of strength, speed, agility and endurance - skills that this team in Eschborn and Simmern impressively demonstrated. The importance of mental strength and self -confidence as key factors for success was also discussed and illustrates how important the psychological component is in this sport. These findings can be found in an analysis that deals with the physical and psychological features of kickboxers: PMC .

Trainer of the Tomburg Boxing Team is proud of his protégés, who shine not only through their successes, but also through their will and the development they have passed through in training. This spirit and enthusiasm for sport are contagious and hope for future success. Kickboxing in Germany and especially in Hesse clearly has a lot of potential, and the Wormersdorf fighters are a sign of this emerging movement.
