The anticipation of summer cultural enjoyment in Frankfurt is growing! Under the title“Franconofurd Summer”The Archaeological Museum Frankfurt is going into the next round and is making an exciting attempt to bring the Franconofurd Imperial Palace to life. The events will take place between July 3rd and August 21st, 2025 and offer a colorful program of readings and concerts, organized in collaboration with the Friends of the Archaeological Museum. The Frankfurter Rundschau explains that the first guests can arrive a little earlier from 6:45 p.m.
The event begins with a reading by the historianChristian Setzepfandton Frankfurt's city history on July 3rd. The rousing performance by the choir “Songfire Eschborn” will take place on July 17th. A pleasure for the senses
The acoustics of the historic rooms ensure a special listening pleasure that makes the events a highlight. However, places are limited - a total of around 60 people can take part per event. The ticket prices are at19 eurosand also include a free ticket to the museum. A portion of the proceeds from drinks go toward purchasing ceramics for the museum's extensive collection.
The Archaeological Museum Frankfurt itself delights visitors with an extensive presentation of the city's history from the Stone Age to the early modern period. Here visitors can marvel at important finds dating back 200,000 years as well as exhibits from the Ancient Near East and classical antiquity. Frankfurt.de emphasizes that the Franconofurd Imperial Palace is not only an archaeological monument, but also contains noticeable traces of 2,000 years of city history in its walled remains.
Arrival and participation
Getting there is easy, especially by public transport. Guests can use the Dom Römer car park or take the subway lines U4 and U5 to the Römer/Dom stop. The last event of the “Franconofurd Summer” will take place on August 21st, and those who register in time can look forward to an unforgettable cultural experience.
