But it wasn't just restaurants that were targeted by burglars. Between Wednesday, August 20th and Monday morning, August 25th, a construction site container in Helfmann Park in Eschborn was broken into. And as if that wasn't enough, a 19-year-old e-scooter driver was also checked in Eschborn-Niederhöchstadt on Monday. The test returned a positive result for THC, indicating cannabis use. It also turned out that the e-scooter he was riding had been reported stolen since 2023. Several investigations were also initiated against him and a blood sample was taken at the office.
Current incidents show that both theft and the handling of weapons are serious issues in the region. With an increase in burglaries and illegal gun possession, it is important to be vigilant and take security measures when necessary.
