Creative diversity: Experience works of art in Alsfeld's new exhibition!

Alsfeld, Deutschland - in the Museum Scheune Alsfeld opened the "square of creativity" exhibition, which was excited excitement on June 16, 2025. This show brings together four talented artists: Garance Pabst, Katja Niebuhr, Christine Pötzl and Birgit Schwing. The exhibition is accessible to the audience until June 29, Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. A special highlight will be the mobile malaelier, which is completed for the exhibition. Here visitors can become artistically active and live out their creativity.

Experience diverse art

The artists' sources of inspiration could not be more different. Garance Pabst uses everyday materials and addresses environmental influences in their work. With her interactive installation, Katja Niebuhr follows questions about the "roots" of life and combines social and ecological questions. Christine Pötzl surprises with abstract works made of unusual materials, such as building foam and coffee grounds. Her work stimulates the imagination and ask the viewers to question their view of the world. Birgit Schwing, on the other hand, is inspired by her personal health challenges and expresses her emotions with watercolors from landscapes, animals and women's portraits.

A special musical highlight at the opening was the performance of Irish folk songs by three talented eighth graders from the Albert Schweitzer School, which ensured a wonderful atmosphere. Art and music harmonize in this exhibition very well and thus offer a comprehensive sensual experience.

The Museum barn Alsfeld is not only an exhibition space, but also part of a larger initiative. The "art movement" is committed to making art tangible. The aim is to actively involve visitors to the works of art and to promote creative work. Workshops, artists' talks and digital experiences are to be addressed by those interested in art of all ages.
