Alsfeld, Deutschland - On June 28th there is a very special event in Alsfeld: The newly laid Wimmelbuch The city is presented during the children's festival. Thanks to the high demand, the first edition had already sold in autumn 2024, which only reinforces the anticipation for the second edition. The printing company started again with a freshly designed cover and a new hidden object that was created especially for the festival.

For the erect -fashioned price of 10 euros, the colorful world of the hidden object can be bought at the stand of the town twinning association. As Mayor Stephan Paule is pleased to report, you are looking forward to the return of the book, which is equipped with loving illustrations and is supposed to inspire young and old. After the festival premiere, the book will also be available in the Tourist Center Alsfeld and in the bookshop worth reading on the market square.

a creative project

The original concept of the hidden object book, which was created in cooperation with the Wimmelbuchverlag Berlin, comprises a total of five double pages. This is what the story of Anna and her immediately Adrien Adrien experiences exciting adventures in downtown Alsfeld. The readers: Inside, places such as the marketplace, the swimming pool, the Christmas market and the western town of Lingelcreek can discover - a great opportunity to learn the city history in a playful way.

Funding from the Heinz and Gisela Friederichs Foundation and generous donations from VR Bank Hessenland were also mobilized for the project. For everyone who wants to secure the book directly, pre -orders are possible at kultur@stadt.alsfeld.de

The illustrator Isabelle Metzen, who has already artistically designed numerous children's books, added a special note with her gross drawings. It was also emphasized that this book is intended not only for the Alsfelder: inside, but also for all friends of the city. The first work is also distributed free of charge at kindergartens, primary schools and institutions of child and family work.

Another time the hidden object will be available from September 30, 2024 in the Alsfeld tourist and at the Alsfeld Citizens' Festival - this at a unit price of only 5 euros. The proceeds here are again used for cultural and social projects. This shows the hidden object as the true heart of the community spirit in Alsfeld. It becomes clear that there is a good hand for creative and at the same time communal projects that bring the city and its history to life.
