Heizer on Fire: Bebra is celebrating an unforgettable party weekend!
A picturesque weekend in Bebra: “Heizer on Fire – the full steam party weekend” created a fantastic atmosphere on June 13th and 14th, 2025. The Bebra town hall market was transformed into a colorful festival area where numerous visitors were generously accommodated in pleasant temperatures. Organizer Michael Lehn and his dedicated team managed to put together an all-round successful event. With a variety of tables and an appealing supporting program, the event thrilled music lovers, families and connoisseurs alike. The air was filled with anticipation for a festival that had much more to offer than just music.
The event opened on Friday evening with the singing talents of the Brothers Grimm Comprehensive School, followed by a spectacular dance performance by the Spotlight dance studio. Joshua Patron, known for his soulful songs from Frankenhain, lifted the mood before the Cuban night with the Ney Portales Orquesta provided unmistakable rhythms. The musicians, who carried the visitors along with their lively sound and exotic sounds, were supported by a varied program that also included performances by Felicitas Haag and other talents. The evening didn't end too early, however, as the party atmosphere lasted until late into the night.
Event highlights
Saturday got off to a similarly lively start, with children's activities taking place under shady trees. In a lovingly designed craft station, the little ones were able to make insect hotels under the guidance of Gina Dahmen, also known as Miss Glitter, or create “heater flames” with Elke Krapf. The children's program activities were rounded off with a barefoot course, egg run and sack race, which were accompanied by Stefan Pruschwitz. The highlight of the evening was the cover band Bäckside, who thrilled the crowd with their rock music under the motto “We Want it All”.
The dining options also had a lot to offer. From grilled dishes to Italian delicacies in the form of gourmet bruschetta to bubble tea, there was something for every palate. Refreshing cocktails and strategies for relaxation in a chill-out lounge with deck chairs completed the offering, while the Stadtschänke and other local providers ensured a consistent supply of drinks. Admission to the diverse event was also free, which contributed to an increased number of guests.
A celebration for the families
The event in Bebra once again proved how important family-friendly events are. Such festivals not only feature music and dancing, but also create a relaxed atmosphere where children and adults can have fun together. As a popular destination in summer, Bebra has scored another hit, which strengthens the anticipation of future festivals. Such festivals are particularly important for the family, as they not only offer entertainment, but also create space for interaction and community, as the various festivals in Germany prove. The program showed that Bebra is a place where cohesion is valued and at the same time cultural life is flourishing.
Overall, “Heizer on Fire” left a lasting impression, and visitors from near and far are already looking forward to next year. The feedback from guests was consistently positive, which gives the organizers every reason to be happy. This event should definitely be attended if next year the motto is: “Full steam ahead!”
Like HNA and das-beste-bebra.de report, the weekend was a complete success and preparations for the next edition have already begun. In addition, Pola Magazine reminds us of the importance of festivals for the entire family and how important it is to promote such opportunities.
