Creepy Halloween festival in Bebra delights 500 visitors!

On October 31, 2025, Halloween was not just a date, but a real celebration in Bebra. The first Halloween Street Festival attracted around 500 visitors to the city, and the atmosphere was full of spooky and fun from start to finish. The Urban Development Company (SEB) and the Bebra Trade and Commerce Association (HGV) organized the event and thus made a more than successful debut. The participants, including many families, presented themselves in eerily beautiful costumes, which contributed significantly to the great atmosphere.

A colorful program ensured that no one was bored. The painting stations, pumpkin carving and the photo box were particularly well received. The make-up station could hardly save itself from inquiries. Of course, the delicacies weren't missing either: from scary skewers to monster burgers to bold drinks - all of this was on offer at the numerous stalls. Many visitors seemed happy to try these delicacies and do a good business with them.

Costume awards create a great atmosphere

A special highlight was the costume award, for which Christoph Wagner took around 300 photos of the visitors. Scary fans big and small were excited to see the results. The children's awards went to Arya Prenzel, Lennart Dzialas and Sophie Funk, who impressed as “Wednesday's Daughter”. Among the adults, Laurent Mayor and Leona Baumgardt prevailed as Victor and Emily. The winners were able to look forward to free travel to the 41-50-58 steam locomotive meeting on November 8th - an attractive reward for their creative costumes.

The positive feedback from visitors was another sign that the festival was a complete success. Stefan Pruschwitz, the head of SEB, was very pleased with the successful premiere and the great atmosphere. “It is very important to us to present Bebra as a lively city,” says Pruschwitz.

A scary feeling at the Adorno-Gymnasium too

And Halloween was also celebrated at the Adorno-Gymnasium. A spooky disco took place there on November 3rd, 2022, which was organized by the student council. The auditorium was transformed into a witch's cauldron, decorated with a spooky flair and equipped with an impressive light show. DJ Mario ensured that the students had a good time dancing while the best costumes were presented in an entertaining show where applause ensured that the big winners were selected.

The student council rewarded the most creative costume wearers with small gifts, while snacks, cake and drinks ensured a good atmosphere. A big thank you also went out to all the helping hands of the students and staff who actively supported the set-up and dismantling. So this Halloween disco became another great experience that will go down in school history.

In summary, it can be said that Halloween in Bebra and at the Adorno-Gymnasium brought a lot of joy and exciting experiences. Whether at the street festival or the disco - people come together to bring a bit of magic and horror into everyday life in scary costumes.
