Großalmeröder Heimatfest: five days full of joy and security!

After a long waiting time of ten years, the home festival finally took place in Großalmerode. Over five days, the city turned into a lively festival area, in which numerous visitors enjoyed the celebrations. As the Werra Rundschau reported, it was an estimated around 3000 guests who were organized by the old town festival. A gratifying comeback that delighted many locals and visitors alike.

The event started on Thursday and offered numerous attractions such as local bands and a cozy wine village that were very popular with the guests. The atmosphere was significantly improved for more space and security by blocking the state road on Wilhelm-Speck-Platz. The integration of an elaborate security concept together with the state police and the use of nine folders show that security is also very important at such a festival, which ensured a smooth process and were able to act without incidents.

safety precautions and positive balance

The loosening of the security requirements, which was decided four weeks before the festival, was particularly interesting. Thanks to the professional security measures, which included an extensive risk assessment and the protection of the festival area, the festival visitors felt safe. As the Goldeneye Security Service , this is particularly important, since the security situation is more demanding today than before.

The festival offered a varied program every day. From a highly awaited torchlight procession on Friday, to a sold -out disco that attracted around 2,000 visitors, to the "Almeröder evening", which took longer than planned. The move on Sunday afternoon with its creative cars and the popular morning pint on Monday caused additional highlights. Over 600 places were reserved during the morning pint, which led to another highlight of the festival when free drinks could be offered for five hours - a welcome incentive for many.

Mayor Finn Thomsen and the managing director of the festival committee, Gundula Klinge, finally drew a consistently positive balance. The good atmosphere and the cohesion among the visitors, which were reinforced by a short thunderstorm, indicate that the local festival was a complete success not only for the city, but also for the surrounding communities. The Official website provides more information about the festival and its highlights.

Overall, the Großalmeröder Heimatfest impressively shows the importance of such events for a community - not only through the celebration itself, but also through the joint cohesion of the people. This lets us look optimistically into the future when the next festival is coming up again.
