Ringgau wind farm: Nine giants will soon conquer the sky!
Ringgau wind farm: Nine giants will soon conquer the sky!
In the municipality of Ringgau, something happens: The construction of the eleven approved wind turbines in the Graburg wind farm is imminent. The clearing work should begin in the coming year, which is a welcome development for everyone who rely on renewable energies. The municipality will soon sign contracts with three different plant operators. Among them is Cube Green Energy, which has ambitious plans for six wind turbines, which are due to go into construction at the end of 2026. Commissioning is planned for autumn 2027. This is a good step towards a more sustainable future.
Cube Green Energy has set itself the goal of building more powerful systems. The new wind turbines are to achieve a hub height of 164 meters, a rotor diameter of 163 meters and a total height of 245 meters, while the nominal output of 5.5 megawatt hours is increased to 7 megawatt hours. A amendment to change for these new specifications is already submitted to the regional council. Shall and stability examinations also confirm that all legal limit values can be observed, which should increase acceptance among the population.
sustainable development and economic benefit
The three operators share the access to the wind farm, which makes logistics more efficient. Cube Green Energy plans to lay cable routes that lead about 27 kilometers to Eisenach-West, while Orsted wants to move 17 kilometers to Eschwege. All contracts for the usage fees and management rights have terms of 20 to 30 years, which creates long -term planning security for everyone involved.
The economic effects are not to be neglected: Cube Green Energy will estimate around 104,000 euros per year and around 70,000 euros in income from Orsted. In addition, the municipality plans to sell ecopolitan points to Cube Green Energy at an above -average price, which generates additional financial means.
commitment in the energy transition
Cube Green Energy, a German provider who specializes in renewable energies, has made considerable progress in recent years. Over 250 GWH energy is produced annually, which supplies around 62,822 households. The company has set itself the goal of providing reliable and sustainable energy for communities and companies. According to CEO Raghuveer Kurada, existing wind turbines are also being worked on.
The trend towards renewable energies is unstoppable. In 2024, 22.4% of German gross energy consumption were already covered by renewable energies. In view of the goals for 2030, in which a share of 41% is sought, the efforts in Ringgau are a typical example of the positive development in Germany, which contributes significantly to reducing CO2 emissions.
Interested citizens can further find out more about the developments at an information event on July 1 at the Wilhelm Schellhase-Hase in Röhrda. It is a step that could give the energy transition in the region a complete thrust.Details | |
