At around 9.40 a.m. a group of three motorcyclists were on the route when the accident took its dramatic course. The 68-year-old driver from Wegberg braked at the scene of an accident on the opposite lane, which led to a moment with serious consequences.
The 59-year-old driving behind him, also from Wegberg, noticed he was braking too late and collided with the motorcycle of the driver in front. Both motorcyclists fell and sustained serious injuries.
