A serious traffic accident on the federal road 252/253 near Frankenberg caused a sensation on June 13, 2025. Around 2:40 p.m., a 67-year-old driver who was traveling from Korbach came into oncoming traffic for reasons that have so far been unexplained. In a fine right -hand bend, his vehicle crashed from an oncoming truck. Despite all the efforts of the emergency services, the driver died of the serious injuries that he suffered when he was trapped in the vehicle.
