In the last few days, several break-ins have shaken the region around Homberg, Gudensberg and Dagobertshausen. The perpetrators acted extremely violently, which shows once again that burglary crime continues to be a serious problem in Germany. Another break-in occurred in a bakery in Gudensberg. The perpetrators tried to get into the sales area on Monday night around 12:45 a.m. by breaking a window in the entrance door. An attentive witness disturbed the burglars, who then fled without any loot. One perpetrator was described as 20 to 25 years old, approximately 175cm tall and with a slim build. Attempted departure from Dagobertshausen

In Dagobertshausen there was also an attempt to break into a vending machine between Thursday and Friday. However, the perpetrators failed at the machine and still caused damage of around 100 euros. Information about this incident is requested to contact the Melsungen police on 05661-70890.
