The summer vacation is just around the corner, and for the children in Butzbach it will soon be: adventure, fun and fun! The 52nd holiday games of the city of Butzbach begin on July 7, 2025 and promise a varied program for the participants 270 children between 6 and 13 years. The official opening takes place on the first day at 9:00 a.m. in the presence of Mayor Sascha Huber. From Monday to Friday, the children can look forward to exciting actions and creative projects every day. From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. you can participate and let off steam with a variety of activities. On July 11th, the highlight of the holiday games, the fun and action day is on the program. Here the children await a climbing mobile, numerous play and sports equipment as well as the fire brigade, which ensures a welcome cooling. On this day, the program ends at 2:00 p.m., followed by early and afternoon care until 3:00 p.m.

But that's not all! The holiday games offer a lot of activities that are divided according to age groups. These include visits to the Sparkasse, Volksbank, fire brigade, bakery, library and police station, city tours as well as project days, hip-hop, self-defense and creative workshops. The focus is on childlike curiosity and movement, and the children are also active in nature, for example at the forest experience or a swimming pool day. In addition, a bus transfer is offered in the "core module" to the Weidigschule and back. Our holiday program informs about the registration, which has to be made online from April 22nd to May 4th, 2025.
An additional highlight in the holiday games is the possibility to take part in further activities in an optional third holiday week from July 21 to 25, 2025. A certificate from the employer is required for this. The participation fees are family -friendly. The fee for the first child in a family in the first two weeks is 100.00 euros and 50.00 euros in the third week.

for the very curious: early care is offered from 7:30 a.m. so that the parents can deliver their children comfortably. To ensure that all children are well looked after, 31 experienced supervisors with a pedagogical background are available.
