An exciting weekend for the Hanau Hornets: On the last matchday, they achieved an impressive victory against Gernsheim and prevailed 48: 6. In front of 712 enthusiastic spectators, the Hornets started right from the start and quickly led 13: 0 thanks to Maxim Frey, Arthur Engels and Marc Spöckinger's goals. The Gernshainers had trouble arriving against the strong defense of the Hornets. Interceptions by Melvin Hettrich and Nico Schmidt ensured that the Hornets secured the possession of the ball and thus laid the foundation for their success.
