CSD Frankfurt 2025: Colorful festival for diversity on the banks of the Main!
Frankfurt am Main, Deutschland - The countdown is running and the anticipation for the Christopher Street Day (CSD) in Frankfurt is already noticeable! This year the event celebrates the diversity and rights of queer people with a colorful program that takes place from July 17th to 20th. The central demonstration is scheduled for Saturday, July 19 and will be under the motto "Never quiet again - Frankfurt is #laut". A little fewer program items are expected compared to the previous year, but around 150,000 visitors are expected.
A new area on the banks of the Main between the old bridge and the Untermainbrücke serves as a central event location. Tram lines 11, 12 and 18 have to be diverted from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The demor route leads over the Römerberg, Fahrgasse, Töngesgasse, Roßmarkt and ends at the old bridge. Around 13,000 participants are expected for the demonstration, including prominent speakers such as the Hessian Minister of Social Affairs Heike Hofmann and the actress Enissa Amani.
Family friendliness and children's offers
Another focus is on the family friendliness of the event. As part of the street festival, there is a special family zone with varied offers such as playing, painting and tinkering for the little ones. On Saturday, the children can look forward to child -friendly experiments, while a quiet area is set up for young people to withdraw and be creative. The family area in the demonstration is also deliberately designed without loud music or exhaust gases so that everyone can experience a pleasant time.
