The anticipation for the Wiesbaden Literature Days 2025 is increasing. From September 24th to 30th, the Hessian state capital will once again become a hotspot for literature, film, music and photography. In this edition, Czech writer Jaroslav Rudiš is invited as host and curator of the program. He writes in German and Czech and his works have secured a permanent place in contemporary European literature. The Wiesbaden Cultural Office, supported by the Frankfurt RheinMain Cultural Fund, ensures a colorful and varied festival program that has been held every two years since 1986. Wiesbaden reports about the exciting events, the international artists and the diversity of culture.

Dr. Hendrik Schmehl, the head of the cultural department in Wiesbaden, praises Rudiš as an excellent tour guide for the artistic expedition. His works reflect the history of Central Europe and incorporate current events, which makes him a unique contact for the upcoming literary days. In addition, with his multilingualism, Rudiš brings a high level of intercultural understanding between the Czech Republic and Germany. RheinMain culture complemented that the person in charge of the Villa Clementine literary house, Susanne Lewalter, is excited about the cooperation.
