On June 14, 2025, the district decision of the Hessian fire service exercise (Hflü) took place today and the temperatures were high summer, which did not prevent the participants from doing their best. Three fire brigade units from the Rheingau-Taunus district competed against each other: Hohenstein-Breithardt, Hünstetten-Wallrabenstein and the core city of Idstein. The award ceremony was led by district fire chief Holger Hagen, who congratulated participants and guests of honor. The importance of fire service exercises

The Hessian fire service exercise not only serves the competition, but also to consolidate and expand the knowledge of the fire brigade members across the country. The results of the district exercise are the first step on the way to national competitions.
