Local Heroes Festival: Three days full of culture on the city mill!

Groß-Umstadt, Deutschland - A popular event is just around the corner: The Local Heroes Festival takes place from June 13th to 15th, 2025 on the picturesque site of the city mill in Babenhausen. Organized by the Jugend, Sport & Culture in close cooperation with McKenna’s Theater, the festival invites you to enjoy the variety of local and regional art scene in a family atmosphere. A colorful program is shown that has something ready for everyone.

The opening takes place on Friday evening with the most famous Hessian cabaret artist, Bodo Bach , and his program "The Gutest from 20 years". The tickets for this evening were quickly sold out, which shows that the event is very popular. If the weather does not play along, there is a plan B: The Markwaldhalle in Langstadt can be used as an alternative location to guarantee the guests a pleasant experience.

On Saturday, the festival site opens in the early afternoon and offers a wide range of cultural activities.
