Christmas wishes for animals: Help the animal shelter in Hersfeld!
The Christmas season is increasingly becoming the highlight of the year, and in this festive season not only people but also our four-legged friends get their money's worth. The Hersfeld Animal Welfare Association's fundraising campaign ensures that the residents of the Hersfeld-Rotenburg animal shelter can experience a little joy. As the HNA reported that they have set up decorated Christmas trees in the district's Fressnapf branches and have wish cards from the animals ready. Inside you will find heartfelt wishes such as toys, cuddly pillows or tasty treats. Customers can take out a card, purchase the products they want and thus help the animals.
New this year is the cooperation with Obi in Bad Hersfeld. There is another Christmas tree here where Obi vouchers can be left. These valuable vouchers are collected at the checkout and support the animal shelter with necessary purchases, repairs and projects. The second chairman of the Hersfeld Animal Protection Association, Jürgen Richter, emphasizes the importance of commitment to animal protection, not only during Advent, but all year round.
Shared commitment to animals
The Christmas campaign is a matter of the heart for everyone involved and shows the community's solidarity with the animals in need. The animal shelter team would like to expressly thank all donors for their support. Particular attention should be paid to the donation options at Christmas, which are also available through the Animal Welfare League are available. Those interested can contribute through a donation form or via PayPal to support food, veterinary costs or medication.
The donations collected go directly to where they are needed most. For example, donations can be marked for specific projects, be it dogs, cats or even small animals. It is also important for forgotten and abandoned animals that they receive medical care and species-appropriate care in the animal shelter.
So that animals can also be given a happy holiday
A special highlight is the opportunity to donate in other names and give away a Christmas certificate starting at 25 euros. This kind gesture not only benefits the animals, but also adds a special sparkle to the Christmas season. Because every euro donated - as the Animal Welfare League has established - 80 cents go directly to animal protection, while 20 cents are used for action planning and administration.
Overall, the campaign shows that the community stands together to give the animals a nice Christmas. Walk by, pick up a card and not only make the animals happy, but also bring a little more warmth into the contemplative time! Jürgen Richter and his team look forward to continued active participation and thank you in advance for every sign of support.
