With every trip, cyclists not only improve their fitness, but also increase their general quality of life, as cycling reduces stress and raises the mood.

The goal of the competition is to encourage people to use the bike as an environmentally friendly and health -promoting means of transport. The Federal Environment Agency emphasizes that the infrastructure is also decisive to promote switching to bike in the long term in everyday life. The feedback platform Radar! helps citizens to report grievances such as potholes and thus contribute to improving the cycling infrastructure.

Overall, the past city and school cycling shows how cycling not only protects the environment, but also creates a great sense of community. The participants: inside can look forward to the next big cycling event and maybe one or the other newcomer will be encouraged to swing the saddle itself.
