Abitur 2025: JGS in Rotenburg with top grade, solemn layoffs begin!
The Abitur exams in the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district have successfully finished this year. A total of 363 students took part in four high school high school. The number of participants has hardly changed compared to the previous year, where there were still 364 test subjects. It is striking that the State School Authority in Bebra has not made a large -scale average publication and refers to the strict data protection guidelines, as the hna reported.
The Jakob Grimm School (JGS) in Rotenburg hasamong schools in the district: it achieved the best grade average of 2.1. Followed closely by the Obersberg School in Bad Hersfeld with 2.31 and the Werra Valley School in Heringen with an average of 2.4. The vocational high school in Bebra follows an average of 2.25. Despite excellent performance, some students had to secure their degrees in the following exams.
Best performance and diarrhea quotas
It is particularly gratifying that all students existed at the JGS. In contrast, 4% of the 53 test subjects did not have to receive the certificate at the vocational high school in Bebra. At the Werra Valley School in Heringen it was 5%that concerns two of a total of 36 students. In the previous year, 345 test subjects had passed, while 19 students fell through, emphasizes the hna .
discharge celebrations and examination requirements
The celebrations for discharge of graduates traditionally begin with the Jakob Grimm School on June 26, followed by the vocational high school in Bebra on June 27 and the Obersberg School on June 28th. The Abitur exams themselves consisted of three written and two oral exams. German, mathematics and a foreign language or a natural science are compulsory subjects, whereby the subject of mathematics can also be replaced by a foreign language in the vocational high school.
The statistics on the Abitur grades show that general university entrance qualification is the highest school leaving certificate in Germany and is an important prerequisite for access to universities. In 2022 there were around 259,300 high school graduates nationwide, with the diarrhea quota in recent years, apart from the Corona years 2020 and 2021. In the final year 2023 it was 4.6%, the highest value since at least 2010, as an evaluation of Statista shows.
The differences in the educational systems of the different federal states, such as the duration of the upper level, significantly influence the comparability of the high school grades. In some federal states, the students take their exams after 12 years, in others after 13 years, which makes the requirements vary greatly.
