Swing, gypsy jazz and blues: cultural evening in Hünfeld on November 18th!

A lot is happening in the cultural scene in Hünfeld! On Tuesday, November 18th, the Inswingtief ensemble will make the town hall halls sing. The cultural evening promises a colorful musical program: swing, gypsy jazz, world music, bossa nova and blues are just some of the styles that listeners can expect. [Rhönkanal] reports that the ensemble will present its new original compositions and arrangements from the upcoming album “Beyond Swing”.

The Inswingtief ensemble is made up of four talented musicians: violinist Thomas Buffy, electric jazz guitarist Stefan Degner, double bassist Sabrina Damiani and gypsy guitarist Felix Leitner. The event starts at 8 p.m., admission is possible from 7:30 p.m. The city of Hünfeld sees this as an excellent opportunity to support local culture.

Support for the Hünfeld problem children

A particularly nice aspect of the cultural evening is the financial support for the “Hünfelder Sorgenkinder” campaign. The entire surplus from ticket sales is donated, so that every ticket buyer also contributes to a good cause.

Tickets for the concert are available in advance and can be purchased at the Citizens' Office, the Tourist Information Office or online. While category 1 tickets are already sold out, category 2 tickets are available at reduced prices for 14 euros or 12 euros. [Rhönkanal] emphasizes that demand is pleasingly high.

Poetry and humor in the program

But that's not all! Even after Inswingtief's performance, the cultural program continues. On Tuesday, December 2nd, comedian Hans Gerzlich will provide humorous moments with his program “You Little Sinner Comes”. It will definitely be a bit chaotic, because Gerzlich's Christmas party ends with a supposedly missing wedding ring.

Those interested in culture can also look forward to further highlights in the Hünfeld town hall: On Tuesday, January 20th, Ulrich M. Heissig will bring the “cabaret invention” Irmgard Knef to the stage, and on February 10th there will be “Solo Piano” with the virtuoso Harald Krüger, known for his rousing boogie-woogie culture.

Another highlight is the program “Leni & Susan – Riefenstahl and Rosenblatt are dead” by Saskia Leder and Romina Bursy on Tuesday, March 10th, while the last cultural evening of the 2025/2026 season will be fittingly concluded on April 24th with Anabelle Hund and her French chanson program.

Like the city of Hünfeld informed, all cultural evenings are a complete delight for the senses and offer a platform for the regional art and culture scene.

So if you don't want to miss an evening full of music and a good atmosphere, you should get your ticket in good time and look forward to an unforgettable evening in the Hünfeld town hall!
