Campaign sports club Hünfeld celebrates 50 years and sets signs against the right!

What a festive occasion! The martial arts Club Hünfeld celebrated its 50th anniversary in the Haunhalle in Burghaun, Fulda district last Saturday. Under the direction of 1st chairman Alexander Traud, the guests were waiting for a colorful program full of games, fun and exciting actions. The anniversary festival not only offered a nice review of the history of the club, but also an excellent opportunity to strengthen the community of members.

The event program had something to offer for everyone. The KSC rally, which consisted of ten interesting stations, delighted young and old. Here the participants were able to demonstrate their skill in disciplines such as sack jumping and praise. In addition, the guests found a lot of fun at the KSC quiz, where exciting questions about the club and the sport had to be answered. At the award ceremony, all participants were celebrated as the winner and received a lovingly designed keychain with a club imprint as a souvenir.

honors and greetings

particularly warm words found Mayor Benjamin Tschesnok, who presented the honorary letter from the state of Hesse to Alexander Traud. Andreas Scheibelhut, deputy chairman of the Fulda-Hünfeld sports district, also honored the members Vanessa Jansky and Thomas Wiegand for their special services. Greetings also came from Gunnar Stiegler, President of the Hessian Ju-Jutsu Association, and Otto Groß, chairman of the Ju-Jutsu club from Poppenhausen. These honors illustrated the appreciation that the association enjoys in the region.

The Burghaun restaurant "Aller André", which provided a varied buffet to end the anniversary, took care of the physical well -being. It was a festival that gave many beautiful moments and further welded the community of the Hünfeld martial arts.

an association with social responsibility

The martial arts Club Hünfeld is not only known for its sporting achievements. The association is also actively involved in right -wing extremism. As part of the model project "Experience Welt Sport - We offer respect and recognition (R.An!)" The KSC is committed to values such as team spirit and fair play. The summer festival of the association, which took place despite adverse weather conditions at the barbecue area in Steinbach, was therefore all about the R.AN! Projekt, such as fuldaerzeitung.de.

Project manager Angelika Ribler gave an informative lecture on right -wing extremism in sport and addressed how important it is to set clear signs against the right, especially in today's world. The children were allowed to take part in a topic -related rally that they playfully informed and sensitized them. Alexander Traud emphasized the relevance of this engagement, especially against the background of a Nazi departure last November. "We have to appear against the right," he appealed to the gathered.

With the R.AN! program, the chance is also given to make a positive change across Hesse. Associations that are committed to the right are supported with a R.AN! Team coach, whereby Michael Schwesinger will take on this role at the KSC. The project receives financial support as part of the federal program "Promote tolerance - strengthen competence", which confirms and supports the efforts of the KSC.

summarized remains to be said: The martial arts Club Hünfeld is not only a place of training and competitions, but also a lively community that is strong for the values of respect and tolerance and is looking at social responsibility. We can be excited to see what the next 50 years will have for this committed club!
