The Hünfeld base fire brigade celebrates its 100th anniversary at the picturesque Haselsee. A special highlight of these festivities is the flight of a fire brigade hot balloon, which was organized by a private donor and has already made its rounds through Hünfeld. The festival weekend will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of the youth fire brigade.
