The preparation of the Melsungers begins today, July 18. The first step takes place with the team's meal together before the medical tests and performance diagnostics are on the program on Monday, July 21st. The players received individual training plans in the weeks before in order to start the training phase optimally. nh24 reports that the first test game on July 27 will take place against the second team in the Melsung city sports hall.

The first steps in the season

Trainer Roberto Garrondo has to quickly integrate the new players into his strategy. With a total of six new additions, including two Hungarian national goalkeepers, it will be an exciting challenge for the team. It is particularly worth mentioning that Dimitri Ignatow and Ian Barrufet played constant last season and were in use in all 56 competitive games. Ignatow is optimistic about the preparation and getting to know his new colleagues.

The first three point games in the Bundesliga have already been scheduled: On September 4, the MT Melsungen will go to VfL Gummersbach before the THSV Eisenach is on the game plan a week later. The remote -duels against prominent opponents such as the THW Kiel, who take place in their hall on October 25, are already throwing their shadows ahead.
