Calden defenders practice an emergency: helicopter crash simulated!

Hofgeismar, Deutschland - The fire brigade practices

for an emergency

The fire brigades in Calden recently were busy with an exciting exercise that made many dramatic moment promise. Like hna.de reported, the emergency services simulated an overturned helicopter-presented by a truck. In such a realistic scenario, firefighters from Meimbressen, Obermeiser and Calden had to find out how several people can be saved from the wreck of the "helicopter" and the truck's cab.

radical missions require a precise position assessment and unique security measures. Managers also took part in this relevant exercise that not all of them have full qualifications. However, such exercises offer the valuable opportunity to gain the necessary trust in processes and at the same time to understand the responsibilities in the team. According to the motto: exercise makes the master. The feedback and knowledge from the campaign will in future be included in the training of the firefighters and thus strengthen the practical training and the promotion of young people.

A sad occasion shortly after the exercise

A few days later there was a real emergency: a small aircraft had to be emerged, which immediately represented a new challenge for the fire brigades involved. Fortunately, the incident remained lightly and the pilot, Klaus Bubl from Simbach am Inn, and his wife seriously, but not life -threatening. The 65-year-old landed his helicopter after a sudden turbine failure in a field by initiating an emergency procedure called authors. Bubl, who is one of the “old hands” of aviation with over 600 flight hours, knew what to do. If he had not applied the procedure, his helicopter would have "fallen like a stone from the sky", Bubler said afterwards.

The technical emergency position, such as Situation with calm and expertise and is positively recognized due to its exemplary trade.

common missions are strong

In Munich, on the other hand, the aid organizations are also in the starting blocks for big exercises, because the need for well -trained emergency services is omnipresent. As the sueddeutsche.de reports, a common large deployment with fire brigade and police take place in Aidenbachstraße. This is about treating real actors and then transporting with helicopters. Here too, the realistically trained situations can demonstrate their skills.

This is how the exercises, whether in Calden or Munich, become a valuable lesson for the emergency services in order to act quickly, effective and responsibly in an emergency.
