Ari fittings tackle: New hall in Homberg creates hundreds of jobs!

A lot is happening in Homberg-Holzhausen, because Ari-Ampreataturen GmbH has big plans. The company is investing in a new production hall that is due to start operating by spring 2026. With an area of 3350 square meters, the hall will not only house innovative manufacturing processes, but also accommodate the training workshop, which is a real plus for the region. For this, Ari fittings recently acquired an adjacent barrack area from the city to create enough space for growth, such as the Hna reported.

The manager Björn Voß emphasizes that the space required for machines and assembly has increased significantly. Therefore, the new hall is to be equipped with barrier -free access, an elevator and a freight elevator. In addition to the production rooms, social and sanitary areas are also planned on two floors. In order to implement the construction work, the necessary dismantling work of the old chip hall and the implementation of electrical cables are also planned. The first concrete walls are to be raised in August 2025.

a traditional company with a view of the future

Ari fittings, founded in 1950, is a privately managed company with over 60 years of tradition in the manufacture of shut-off and security valves for industrial plants. In addition to the location in Holzhausen, the company has a total of three locations in Germany and 19 branches worldwide. A total of over 800 employees employs a total of over 800 and has recorded a significant increase in the number of employees in recent years - from 45 to currently 150 employees. The new hall will not only lead to the creation of other jobs, it is also an answer to the shortage of skilled workers that the company employs.

This is a challenge that turns out to be difficult. The current analysis of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs "shows that not only the necessary specialists are rare, but that the number of workers decreases as a whole. In view of the demographic developments, sustainable protection of skilled workers is becoming increasingly important. Ari fittings are therefore actively looking for cooperation with local schools to promote youngsters in the industry.

investments for strong growth

The exact amount of the investment for the new production hall remains a secret for the time being, but according to the company, it is a "million amount". This investment follows a previous large purchase, in which 5 million euros were invested in a new warehouse in 2019. These steps show that Ari fittings have a good knack for long-term strategy in order to meet the internal need for operating capacities and to meet the increasing demand on the market.

The local clubs, which are now housed on the barrack area, may remain, which is particularly important for social structures in the region. There is a lot going on in Homberg-Holzhausen, and the future looks promising!
