Future-oriented training: MainStudy event in Frankfurt am Main!

On June 23rd and 24th, 2025, the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences (Frankfurt UAS) will open its doors to all high school students, parents and teachers. Under the motto “Study and career opportunities in the Main metropolis”, the MainStudy information event will take place at Nibelungenplatz 1 in Frankfurt am Main, in Building 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event promises an exciting platform on which those interested can find out more about the various study programs and career prospects.

Particularly noteworthy is the collaboration with the Federal Employment Agency. idw-online.de reports on a diverse program that includes lectures on study programs, informative market stalls and exciting laboratory tours. Here, students and their companions can learn more about engineering and other disciplines. To make the decision to study easier, the central student advisory service offers valuable tips and information about applying.

Insight into the university and its partners

The event also offers the opportunity to get to know the International Office, which provides information about semesters abroad and internships. A workshop entitled “Chance Orientation” helps to identify visitors’ talents and interests. Anyone interested in dual study programs must apply to a cooperating company. This often begins a year in advance, as is made clear on the Frankfurt UAS website. Interested parties should also be prepared to fulfill a corresponding contract and other requirements, which are described in detail on frankfurt-university.de.

Not only the university itself will be represented on the two days. External institutions such as the Federal Police, the Main Customs Office and Fraport AG use the opportunity to introduce themselves. These partnerships offer young people insights into the diverse career opportunities available to them.

Further events and registration

Participation in MainStudy is free and registration is not required, making the event accessible to everyone. Further information events take place at several universities in the region, including the Offenbach University of Design and the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. Interested students can find details on the websites of the respective institutions.
