Holiday tickets for Seedammbad and city bus: now available!
From December 1, 2025, children in Bad Homburg can purchase their holiday tickets for the Seedammbad and the city bus. This creates anticipation among the young swimmers and those around them! The holiday ticket for the Seedammbad for 2026 is available to all Bad Homburg children who attend a general education school or have reached the minimum age, priced at 25 euros. Children from households that receive transfer payments or have a Bad Homburg Pass benefit from a reduced price of just five euros for the card.
But that's not all: a city bus holiday card is also available. This also only costs five euros and is intended exclusively for children and young people who are not entitled to the RMV student annual ticket and whose parents receive transfer benefits or have a Bad Homburg Pass. Both holiday tickets are valid from the Christmas holidays 2025 up to and including the autumn holidays 2026, including the weekends before and after the holidays. The cards can also be purchased independently, making planning easier for parents.

What is also exciting is that the Seedammbad, a true gem of the city, is currently experiencing exciting times. Visitors can enjoy the outdoor pool season here until September 14, 2025, with opening hours being Tuesday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The pool remains closed on Christmas Eve and public holidays. The 11-pool pool extends over an impressive 2,553 m² of water – ideal for splashing around and swimming!
There is also a swimwear shop, a playground for little explorers and a seniors' area available to bathers, which shows that there is really something on offer for every age group. Online tickets with a QR code can also be purchased for quick access to the pool. These tickets are valid for three years and can be conveniently presented on a mobile phone or in paper form. However, you should note that not all tariffs are available online and some discounted prices can only be purchased at the on-site box office.
