Eschborn K rings in autumn: new cultural program inspires!
After a relaxing summer break, we're off to... Eschborn K round again! The cultural center has put together a varied program for September and October that will amaze visitors. The first few months of the year have already been a complete success, as shown by the strong visitor numbers at Open Jazz Connects (OJC). The Sunday sessions have proven to be real crowd pullers and we are now building on that.
Starting in the fall, the OJC will be launching full-length concerts. Fans of live music can look forward to a great line-up and the cabaret area is also really heating up. Martin Berke from Chemnitz and Timo Schweitzer from Eschborn, better known as Malte Anders, entertain the guests in September and October. Variety is ensured because the program not only offers cabaret, but also a number of slam events such as song slam, poetry slam and science slam.
A cultural place full of possibilities
The Eschborn K is a place where culture is actively lived. There are more than 100 classes here for all ages, from children to adults, and the selection ranges from cinema to high-quality live gigs and jam sessions. It is also known as the home of the Lindy Hop scene in the Rhine-Main area and offers avant-garde performances that perfectly round off the cultural offering. Another highlight is the “Swinging Sunday Tea Dance”, which is celebrated once a month.
The Eschborn K has not only made a name for itself among visitors, but also through its quality: it has been awarded the “Hessian Film and Cinema Prize for non-commercial film theaters” five times in a row. This speaks for a high level and government power in program design.
A variety of events in Eschborn
Eschborn doesn't just have a lot to offer at Eschborn K - various events take place here all year round. A particularly popular event is the Ash Festival in the historic center, which is celebrated every May. The “Summertime” event series runs in the summer months and offers numerous outdoor musical and cultural events from June to August. Every two years, a market in Niederhochstadt attracts visitors in midsummer. Even in Advent, the Christmas market with its festive flair ensures that you get in the mood for the festival.
The full Eschborn K program for September to December is on the website eschborn-k.de can be found and printed programs are available at various locations in and around Eschborn. So there's no reason why culture lovers in the region shouldn't get their money's worth again!
