Job fair in Loop5: Over 1,500 interested people secure opportunities!

On November 14, 2025, the Darmstadt-Dieburg district's largest job fair took place in Loop5. With 74 employers presenting their job and training offers, the event attracted numerous interested parties right from the start. The gates opened at 10 a.m. and the first visitor could be found at the Heag Mobilo stand ten minutes beforehand. Center manager Nicole Kurtovic spoke of an “overwhelming” number of visitors and emphasized the high customer frequency.

A look at the numbers shows how successful the job fair was. After just one hour, 1,000 flyers depicting the trade fair zones were gone. New flyers were quickly printed, and by 2 p.m. they were almost sold out. At 12 p.m., 1,000 people had already registered, with 4,500 invitations sent out. Registrations exceeded the usual rate of 20% after just two hours, meaning that a total of around 1,500 people interested in jobs registered. It is important to mention that visitors could not register without an invitation and therefore the demand came first hand.

Positive feedback and outlook

Head of Social Affairs Christel Sprößler called the cooperation with Loop5 a “perfect decision”. She shared her enthusiasm with Alfred Haubenreisser from Free Time, who reported that he was able to make ten in-depth contacts during the trade fair. The trade fair was described by all sides as a “full hit” – a positive conclusion that even held out the prospect of a repeat event next year.

The high-quality design of the stands contributed to the upgrading of the shopping center and made the bridge between job offers and interested visitors even more effective. Keynote speeches were announced in the food court, and a shuttle bus ensured that invited visitors could easily get from Luisenplatz to Loop5. This approach lowered the inhibition threshold to visit a shopping center, which further underlines the success of the event.

The next three to four months will show whether this trade fair actually led to concrete job offers. However, the organizers are optimistic that the good atmosphere and the large number of discussions will bring positive results. A new attempt next year is already on the agenda.

Like the event itself, the planning for the job fair in Loop5 is clearly structured and well thought out. We can only hope that many interested people and employers will continue to come together for such valuable events in the future.
