The anticipation was great in Viermünden! On June 21, 2025, the community celebrated a very special event: the 1175th anniversary of the first documentary mention. On Corpus Christi Day, the festival weekend began with a colorful culinary pageant that filled the streets with life. Thousands of visitors, many undertook the way by bike or train, enjoyed the selection of regional specialties that were offered at 22 different stands.

The guests were able to look forward to delicacies such as Wildgoulash, Lammburger, Grillkäsburg, farm ice cream and a diverse cake buffet. In total, 91 stations presented themselves in the town center, including sales and information stands that had something ready for every taste. The "blue mile" in particular was a highlight, where representatives of the technical relief organization (THW), the fire brigade, the Bundeswehr, the German Red Cross (DRK), the police and the wish car vividly presented their work.

The event not only offered culinary delights. There was also an impressive tractor and classic car exhibition that made the hearts of technology enthusiasts beat faster. The nature conservation youth was also represented and presented their projects while artisans offered their works for sale. For the little visitors there was their own children's country with varied games and activities that gave a lot of fun.

Musically, the festival was framed by numerous choirs and dance groups. The church choir started, which inspired the audience with his performances, followed by a project choir that also performed. Mike Schwarz, member of the festival committee, estimated the number of visitors at impressive 7,000 to 8000 people. Eating the positive feedback, parking and organization speaks for the successful course of the celebrations.
